Book Cover Illustration

I recently had the honor of being asked to design a book cover for a dear friend of mine.
I went through probably a ton of different inspiration images and a handful of sketches that
looked very lackluster. However, I think this sketch has a lot of potential. I will be painting
it in photoshop and will hopefully have more posts so you can see the evolution of the project.
